As the old saying goes, the proof is in the pudding - well, we're serving some mighty fine pudding around here. Each of our 147 sleeping rooms is being renovated with all new carpets and tiles, curtains, mattresses, pillows, televisions, bathroom fixtures, and lighting.
Usually one look at a room can tell you most of what you need to know - you either get that warm, comfortable feeling or you don’t. When you first open the door to any of our rooms your eyes will immediately be drawn to our plush, thick, comfortable new Serta mattresses. And when it comes to beds there’s nothing better than having a skyful of soft plump pillows - you won’t find any pancake-thin pillows in our rooms. And if the hotel you usually visit offers up a griddle of flapjack pillows then perhaps you’d better look for a new favorite, like the New Lauderdale Beachside Hotel.
All of our accommodations offer the same basic core of amenities: refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, remote-controlled cable color TV, am/fm clock radio, wireless internet access, and in-room safe.

THE BEACH BUILDING
As the name implies, this is situated directly on the beach and offers you one of three different views:
1. Direct Oceanview - you just can't find a better view anywhere in Florida - an unobstructed view of the miles of white sand beach and that ever-inviting Atlantic ocean. All of these rooms offer ou a full-size balcony with furniture so you can spend some quality time getting to know our beach - ground floor roms have a patio which enables you to walk directly ou onto the beach.
2. Poolside - for those who want to be closer to the action these rooms look out onto our swimming pool area where you will also find the Tiki Bar & Grille. Ground floor rooms also have a patio with access to the pool deck while the upper floors offer a French Balcony which is a narrow balcony with no furniture on it.
3. Partial Oceanview / Northside - these accommodations are located on the north side of the Beach Building and have a very limited view of the beach and ocean. As with our Poolside rooms, ground floor rooms have a patio and the upper floors all have the French balconies.
THE MAIN BUILDING
When you first arrive at the hotel this is where you will need to go to register. It houses the Front Desk as well as the main Damons Restaurant and Lounge. Our Main Building is located just across the small beach access road from our Beach Building and, although it is not beachfront, all rooms have the same amenities as our Beach Building units. We have three types of accommodations from which you may select:
1. Balcony Rooms - many of our repeat guests request these rooms as they do face to the east and, therefore, depending on the floor, offer a partial-view of the ocean. The ground floor rooms actually have a patio instead of a balcony but all of the remaining floors offer a full-size balcony with furniture.
2. Executive Suite - we've taken 2 rooms and renovated them into a full-size suite offereing a separate living room area with brand new efficiency-kitchen appliances. They are on the ground floor on the south side of the building and offer a patio area with access to the parking lot.
3. Standard Rooms - our most economical units that really don't offer any view of the beach or ocean but do offer you the same high standards and new features found in any of our other rooms. The ground floor rooms all have a patio and the upper floors have French balconies.
